1.1. “Client” means any person accessing the Website, browsing its content and/or purchasing the products from the Webshop.
1.2. “Zuvela Solutions” means Zuvela Solutions, sole proprietorship with its offices registered at Rue Fendt 1, 1201 Genève, Switzerland, registered at Registre du Commerce de Genève, ref. number 17514/2017.
1.3. “Website” means the loulousdogfashion.ch website fully proprietary to Zuvela Solutions.
1.4 “Webshop” means the LouLou’s Dog Fashion online shop within the Website.
2. Collecting and processing the data
The Website undertakes to use an appropriate security measures to protect Client’s personal data against any unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Website and Clients happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
2.1 Collecting the data. For the purpose of visiting the Website, placing the orders and purchasing from the Webshop, the following Client’s data is collected: last name, first name, address, e mail address, shipping address, phone number and credit/any other card information requested by the payment system used by the Website.
In the event that Clients refuse to disclose personal information, it will prevent them from engaging in purchasing via the Website. Zuvela Solutions will also collect Client’s personal information if he/she contacts it by email, telephone or via social media. Zuvela Solutions collects no sensitive personal information (i.e. any information related to religious beliefs, sexual orientation, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, physical or mental health or criminal records) and Clients are kindly asked to refrain from providing such information.
The Client is responsible for updating his/her personal data to maintain its accuracy and for keeping his/her user name and/or password safe. In the event that Client provides Zuvela Solutions with personal information of the third parties, he/she will be held responsible for having informed them and having obtained their consent for such activity.
Zuvela Solutions may collect non-personal identiﬁcation information about the Clients whenever they access the Website.
2.2 Use of the data. Zuvela Solutions will use Client’s data in the following ways: to fulfil an order placed via the Website, to collect payments, to provide the Client with a receipt, to ship the order to the Client, to analyze any feedback provided from the Client and to monitor the Website in order to ensure that the content is presented in a manner satisfactory for the Client’s devices. The email address provided by the Client during the registration process will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. Zuvela Solutions may contact the Client via email with information about Website related news, updates, products or service information provided that the Client has consented to receive newsletter related to the Website.
2.3 Sharing the data. Client’s personal information shall be shared with the service providers and third party platforms as required for the web shopping to function; for example, picking, packaging and processing orders, fulfilling deliveries, customer support, fraud detection, credit risk reduction checks, IT systems support and internal audits. Zuvela Solutions also uses services offered by Google, Facebook, Instagram and other similar social media platforms to better tailor its marketing communications. Zuvela Solutions receives insights from Facebook about the effectiveness of advertising campaigns which helps to better target the advertising.
Every external company Zuvela Solutions works with is properly contracted and these contracts clearly set out the expectations and requirements regarding personal information and meeting standards contained in General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR").
2.4 Data retention. Zuvela Solutions retains the information provided by the Client for the following periods:
- for as long as the Client subscribes to receive marketing information;
- for as long as the Client’s account is being used and for a period of three years after the date Client ceases to use his/her account, after which period the data shall be deleted from all systems and back-ups. In the event that the Client wishes to set up an account after this period, it will be treated as a new account and the transaction history will not be available. Client’s information may be processed by Zuvela Solutions or its suppliers to the extent necessary to fulfil the Client’s order. Client agrees to transfer his/her personal information, its storage and processing by submitting his/her personal information to Zuvela Solutions.
2.5 Clients’ rights. Client has the right to request access to his/her personal information, to request that it is erased, to request restriction of its processing, or that any inaccurate personal information is rectified. The Client also has the right to object to the processing of his/her personal information, or in some circumstances to obtain a copy of the personal information in a machine readable format.
The Website may use "cookies" to enhance Client’s experience as cookies hold information which allows the Website to recognize the Client’s account. The main purpose of using cookies by the Website is to facilitate login process for returning Clients and to remember what was in the Client’s shopping cart. The Client has the right and ability to disable cookies in his/her browser, however, it may lead to the Website not functioning properly.
Sensitive information such as Client’s address, password, credit/any other card data are not stored in the cookies used by the Website.
